Once a game reserve for the Maharaja of Bharatpur, the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary also known as the Keoladeo Ghana National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Over 370 species of birds and animals are found in the park such as - Basking Python, Painted Storks, Deer and Nilgai to name a few. The park is considered as one of the finest breeding and feeding grounds to many birds, especially the rare Siberian Crane. Besides, Golden Jackal, Striped Hyena, Blackbuck, Wild Boar and other mammals are also spotted in the park.
